It's the ultimate in convenience: collections are scheduled to suit you, and it's perfect if you have a lot of clothing to move out of the closet at once.

Please note: we do not do clothing pickups for consignment. Consignment items are assessed in store, on the spot — see how consigning works.

What to expect

Our friendly, background-checked clothing specialists will come to the address you choose, at the time you choose — so you don't have to leave anything outside unattended. Collections are conducted by volunteers using their own vehicles, each carrying a Thread Local 360 branded magnet on the door, so you know it's us.

Prefer a no-contact pickup? Leave your packaged clothing somewhere easily found near the front door and shielded from the weather, with a note saying what you'd like done with it: exchange or donate.

Once the specialist has completed their round, we sort your clothing and email you a receipt showing how many items were donated and how many can be credited to your account, if you'd like them to be.

Where your donations go

Anything you donate stays local. Thread Local Charities, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, provides free clothing to members of our community in greatest need — rather than joining the roughly 85% of donated clothing that never reaches anyone at all.
